Abstract

Collaborative learning is a new teaching method, which is student-centered. It is also a new teaching model to apply it in teaching Chinese as a foreign language class. This research will be conducted in the Chinese class of Satriwithaya high school. There are two objectives: 1) to study the collaborative activities in Chinese speaking class, 2) to evaluate students Chinese speaking skill after using collaborative activities in the Chinese speaking class. In teaching experiments, this teaching experiment is based on a review of the literature. This paper selected three collaborative activities for teaching experiments, namely outdoor practice (Chinese interview), business conversation (role play) and Chinese tongue twister.
